SPRINGFIELD, Ky. (AP) - Officials say a pilot died Wednesday when a small plane crashed short of a runway and burst into flames at a central Kentucky airport. Washington County Judge-Executive John A. Settles says the plane hit just short of the runway at Lebanon-Springfield Airport.
